Provides safe patient care, clinical supervision, guidance and education to patients and families who participate in the Cardiac Rehabilitation program. Functions as an advisor and resource for Fitness Techs as a member of the patient care team. Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Education discipline: Nursing. 1-3 years of experience. Basic computer skills; Cerner; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Nursing Process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act; Critical thinking skills; Medical equipment; Quinton QTel ECG Monitoring System. PALS - ED and PACU, only; Maryland Registered Nurse License; American Heart Association CPR Certification; ACLS - excludes Acute Care and OR; BLS certification. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
