Position Summary: The Security Application Systems Analyst is responsible for understanding the current and future process for provisioning and de-provisioning application access for core enterprise systems. The main system of focus is Cerner; however, the analyst will be the subject matter expert in consultation for additional software solutions and processes as required. The Security Application Systems Analyst is able to work within the framework of the Privacy and Security Steering Committee with the ultimate goal of safeguarding the patient record while promoting access based on the role. The analyst is able to translate clinical, business and operational role based requirements into system requirements for role based access taking into consideration workflow processes and desired reporting outcomes. The Application Security Systems Analyst is able to analyze, design, build, test and modify the system privileges as they relate to the access required for the role to provide care and support other position requirements. The Security analyst will be engaged in system access, HIPPA audits, security risk assessments and is responsible for supporting and contributing to privacy and security policy and procedures in coordination with our privacy and security officers. The position is also responsible for insuring that audit capabilities are in place and functional to support compliance and audit requirements.
Requirements: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline. 5-7 years of experience.
