Under the supervision of the RN provides age-appropriate care. Assists staff in monitoring and takedown of equipment on a case-by-case basis. Establishes and monitors par levels of unit supplies. Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field; Less than 1 year experience; GNA /CNA certificate from the MD Board of Nursing; American Heart Assoc. Health Care Provider Cert.; Hospital orientation/training program; Basic computer skills; Communication devices; Interpersonal/communication/organization skills; Demonstrates ability to follow verbal instructions; Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
