The Director of the Birth Center at Sinai will provide strategic, financial and operational leadership to one of the hospitals leading service lines. The Director will partner with designated physician leaders to advance business and clinical initiatives to achieve optimal financial performance, physician and patient satisfaction, quality and safety measures and operational efficiency to ensure the Birth Center provides a best-in-class experience for its diverse patient population. As a key service line leader, the Director will continue to advancing quality and service excellence across the organization. Direct areas of responsibility include Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, OR , Antepartum and Triage. The Director will work closely with the Director of Pediatrics to ensure seamless high quality service.
The Birth Center at Sinai Hospital offers labor and delivery care for routine and high-risk pregnancies; newborn care and pain management services with non-medical options. Neonatal intensive care is provided by experts from the department of Pediatrics/Neonatology of Sinai's Children's Hospital.
Requirements: Ideal candidates will have progressive management experience with responsibility for oversight in an acute care setting; Three (3) years of nursing leadership in maternal child health; Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business, or related field: Specialty certification in maternal child health; Master's degree strongly preferred. Candidates in progress of attaining degree may be considered; 7+ years' experience; Microsoft Office Suite; Licensure in state of Maryland in practice field.
