Responsible for the overall development, coordination and management of the Protective Services department and Courier Services. Implements new programs and maintains existing programs to ensure they are innovative, efficient and in accordance with the policies and procedures of Northwest Hospital Center and applicable local, State, and Federal laws and regulations. Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Must have had college level courses in police science and management. Must commit to ongoing education regarding refinement of management skills and developing expertise in Security Management. Bachelor's degree preferred. 5-7 years of experience. Current law enforcement equipment; Current law enforcement practices and procedures; Working knowledge of security equipment. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
