Horticulture Therapist: Develops and provides a continuum of Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of outcome based service delivery of horticultural therapy programs and services to patients / residents that maximize psychophysical and psychosocial functioning. Requirements: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline. Horticulture Therapy; Therapeutic Recreation; Expressive Therapy; or Creative Arts Therapy.Two years clinical experience providing outcome based Horticulture Therapy. Experience in the design and maintenance of Therapeutic / Enabling Gardens. 3-5 years experience. Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Synquest; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Critical thinking skills. Must have American Heart Association CPR Certification and be a Registered Horticulture Therapist (HTR or HTM). Must demonstrate the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must also demonstrate the ability to negotiate on the company's behalf.
