Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed long-term care sub-acute unit. Patient here stay anywhere from 4-8 weeks while in recovery from a variety of issues such as heart failure, diabetes, joint surgeries, etc. Staff members must be compassionate, motivated and dedicated to helping others in need. Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and function as advisor, resource, for patients and their families as a member of the patient care team.
Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field; Bachelor's of Nursing, preferred; Less than one year experience; Synquest; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Nursing Process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act; Critical thinking skills; Medical equipment; Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Cerner; Maryland Registered Nurse License; American Heart Association CPR Certification.
