Description: performs regulatory and nursing duties related to initiating and running a drug or device trial. Managers regulatory documents and monitors regulatory activities for assigned clinical trials. Explains the protocol to potential research participants, assists in the initial examination, administers drugs, and elicits information from research participants as required by the protocol.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Registered Nursing Degree from an accredited School of Nursing; minimum of a BSN required. One to three years experience. Must be fluent with Microsoft Office Suite, basic computer skills, Cerner, standard office equipment, medical terminology, nursing process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act, critical thinking skills, and medical equipment. Must have American Heart Association CPR Certification and Maryland Registered Nurse License.
