Under limited supervision, participates in the administration and delivery of various neuropsychological services including assessment and consultation. Provides direct patient care through interview of patient and their families/caregivers; administration, scoring and interpretation of neuropsychological measures and feedback of these results with psychoeducational information. Reviews medical, educational and psychological information to integrate with neuropsychological results and produce a written report for medical and psychological intervention. Provides verbal and written consultation to referring physicians and other clinical staff on behalf of their patients. Develops and oversees a clinical training program for pre and post doctoral students in neuropsychology.
Requirements: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline; Doctorate of Psychology; minimum requirement of 2 years supervised experience and successful passing of licensing exam; 3-5 years experience; MD licensure in clinical psychology required; Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Cerner; Healthstream; Standard office equipment; Medical terminology; Critical thinking skills; Basic peds, adult, and geriatric neurology knowledge; Neuroanatomy; Basic pharmaceutical knowledge.
