This is a non-supervisory position in which the incumbent under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, performs routine pharmacy technician related job duties if demanded, in addition to the primary function of billing, maintaining pharmacy accounts receivable from internal and external payers, and other clerical duties assigned.
Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable and pharmacy technician experience is preferred. 1-3 years of experience. Basic computer skills; Standard Office Equipment; Microsoft Office Suite; Rec Rx Payer Reconciliation software system. Certified pharmacy technician in Maryland. Demonstrates the ability to negotiate on the company's behalf. Also demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
