Description: Responsible for initiating, maintaining, and monitoring intravenous therapy and serving as a resource to the hospital staff to optimize Vascular Access Therapy for adults, adolescents, and pediatric patients.
Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Must have active Nursing License and have graduated from an accredited college of nursing. 1-3 years experience. Required Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Maryland Registered Nurse License; American Heart Association CPR Certification; ACLS- excludes Acute Care and OR; INS certified: BLS certification; Membership in Profession Organization; PALS- ED and PACU, only.
