Job Summary: The Associate General Counsel ("AGC") will be responsible for providing guidance, direction, and assistance in connection with a wide variety of legal matters to and on behalf of the Company and its subsidiaries, including a myriad of commercial as well as a broad range of health care regulatory matters. Representing and advocating for the Company and its subsidiaries in dealings with third parties in business ventures. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements with employees, vendors and other business partners. Providing real-time and ongoing assistance to operations personnel with regard to legal issues (including participating in an on-call rotation after appropriate training). Working collaboratively with executive leadership.
Requirements: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline; JD from a top tier law school. Maryland Bar or ability to waive into the Maryland Bar; 7+ yrs of experience practicing as an attorney; top law firm training preferably followed by in-house experience; some healthcare law experience preferred.
