As a member of the surgical team, the Specialty Tech provides technical assistance to the surgeon during surgical intervention under the supervision of the nurse. Maintains instruments and equipment in area of specialization. Requirements: Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field; Completion of a Surgical Technologist course from an accredited institution; 1 to 3 years experience required.
**Shift most likely will be 4, 10-hour days. Required to take call to cover off shifts, weekends and holidays.**
