Provides advance nursing assessment, care and documentation of patient status during their stay in the Cath Lab, inclusive of, but not limited to, administering medications and providing patient comfort, support, awareness and education. Performs these responsibilities pre-procedurally, while procedure is in progress, and post-procedurally.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field; Bachelor's in Nursing, (BSN) Required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN's from CCNE accredited schools. Maryland Registered Nurse License; American Heart Association CPR Certification; ACLS; Specialty Certification Preferred; Basic computer skills; Cerner; Healthstream; Medical terminology; Nursing Process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act. 1-3 years of experience.
