The Supervisor - Emergency Behavioral Health oversees the operations of the emergency behavioral services at Sinai and Northwest Hospital. This position will also provide direct services at times where there is a backup in either of these two hospitals. This position is approximately 50% clinical and 50% administrative, and is responsible for managing operations, improving throughput, and implementing systems that will improve efficiency and quality. This position is a combination of days and evening shifts (example: some days could work 8:00am-5:00pm, 10:00am-7:00pm, or 11:00am-8:00pm) and time will need to be split between Sinai and Northwest Hospitals.
Responsibilities: Seasoned professional knowledge equivalent to a Master's degree, MSW is required if the candidate is a social worker, BSN is required if the candidate is a nurse, knowledge in more than one discipline, LCSW or Maryland RN License, a minimum of 3-5 years of RN or Social Work experience, ER psychiatric experience is required, previous supervisory experience strongly preferred, medical terminology, Nursing Process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act if candidate is a nurse, critical thinking skills, medical equipment, Microsoft Office Suite, basic computer skills, Cerner, Healthstream, standard office equipment.
