Position Summary: In an effort to secure reimbursement for the Hospital, verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification or authorization for Hospital admissions and outpatient procedures.
Requirements: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate. 1-3 years of experience. Basic computer skills; Standard Office Equipment. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Demonstrates the ability to negotiate on the company's behalf.
