The Quality and Patient Safety Department monitors for opportunities to offer solutions and participate in performance improvement initiatives that improve patient safety outcomes. Quality and Patient Safety Specialists are service-aligned to build effective relationships with the interdisciplinary team and leadership to facilitate the integration of core measures and quality indicators into the work environment and to actively promote a culture of patient safety, proactive risk management, and on-going regulatory readiness and compliance with standards of care.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Bachelor's of Nursing preferred. 5-7 years of experience. Maryland Registered Nurse License.
