The Clinical Operations Supervisor plans, organizes and supervises the patient care operations of the Medicine division. Ensures efficient patient flow through office and related multidisciplinary care clinics, including triage, patient intake, assisting with authorizations with testing and specialty consults, and assisting with necessary medical forms. Supports the outpatient clinics for Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, GI, Rheumatology, Pulmonary, and Infectious Disease. This role will have a clinical patient care component, project management/initiative roll outs, and competency assessment & development.
Requirements: Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college), BSN highly preferred, requires knowledge of a specialized field, MD Registered Nurse license, American Heart Association CPR, at least 2-3 years of outpatient RN experience, Microsoft Office Suite, Basic computer skills, Cerner, Healthstream, IDX, Standard office equipment, Medical terminology, Nursing Process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act, Critical thinking skills, Medical equipment.
