Evaluates patients, plans, and administers patient treatments, to restore or improve physical, cognitive, and emotional condition. Implements therapy to patients utilizing self-care tasks, work skills, muscle re-education, therapeutic activities, etc. Provides professional care in accordance with AOTA standards and Maryland Board of Examiners scope of practice.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field; BA/BS or MS in Occupational Therapy; Maryland Occupational Therapist License, AHA CPR Certification. Cerner Millenium; One to three years of experience.
