Working on the rehabilitation team, the staff physical therapist evaluates patients and administers customized treatment plans to relieve pain and restore or improve function and mobility. The physical therapist provides quality care to facilitate patient goal achievement and effective reintegration into the home and community. These positive patient outcomes are achieved through consistent collaboration with the patient, family/caregivers and the multidisciplinary team. The physical therapist also supervises and delegates responsibilities to physical therapy assistants and aides. All professional care is provided in accordance with APTA standards and Maryland State Board of Examiners scope of practice. As a facility, Sinai offers the opportunity for physical therapists to provide skilled services in the acute care, rehabilitation and outpatient settings. Continuing education opportunities and reimbursement offered. New grads seeking a true mentoring environment are encouraged to apply, and are eligible for a Sinai Education Grant. Requirements: • Entry level physical therapy degree from an accredited college or university • Current physical therapy licensure in the state of Maryland • American Heart Association CPR Certification (Healthcare Provider Level) • Basic computer skills • Medical terminology • Critical thinking skills • Rehabilitation experience preferred but not required.
Schedule: Part-time/24 hours week
Shift: Weekdays and one weekend day. Hours are flexible.
