Under moderate supervision, performs diagnostic tests and scanning procedures, utilizing ultrasound systems, to assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. Performs duties of Ultrasound Technologist as it relates specifically to providing Obstetric-related procedures. Explains procedures and special requirements to patients. Adjusts equipment and evaluates image.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. One to three (1-3) years of experience.
